Formerly entitled “Mothers,” this lovely booklet weaves a new look at a well-known story, the story of the birth of Our Lady and the Birth of Our Lord and Savior, but centered around Mary. How grand was our Blessed Mother’s conception, how piously St. Anne prayed for a child “only” for it to be a “girl” when all the births of that time were hoped to be boys. She grew into a beautiful, spotless maiden that was destined to be the most revered Mother of all. It goes on with the their travel to Bethlehem and the Birth of the Divine Babe. What a beautifully told story. The Madonna at the Christmas crib is a truth which speaks to the heart as nothing else can.
