Peace Bestow

Jesus, to Thee we’re pleading,
Humbly we crave for Thy peace evermore,
Pardon and mercy needing,
Oh, harken when Thee we implore!

Mother of God, plead for us,
Unto Thy Son, all our sins to forgive,
Smile Thou in pity o’er us,
Oh ask Him our prayers to receive!

Angels, your kindness render,
Watch us and guide, lest in evil we stray!
Keep us with love so tender,
Oh, lead us through life’s stormy way!
